Ticketmaster New Zealand has announced that it has renewed its long-term partnership with Rotorua Lakes Council. Under the agreement, Ticketmaster will continue as the sole ticketing service partner for Rotorua Lakes Council and its key venues.

A client of Ticketmaster New Zealand since 2008, the renewed partnership promises patrons continued access to the world’s best ticketing technology when obtaining tickets to their three key venues – Sir Howard Morrison Centre, the Energy Events Centre, and the Rotorua International Stadium.

All three key venues will benefit from a complete upgrade of world-class Ticketmaster ticketing technology and innovation, that promises to deliver patrons an elevated fan experience during all their favourite theatre, music, and sports.

Under the renewal, Ticketmaster and Rotorua Lakes Council are focused on attracting new content to the region, as well as simultaneously working together to strive for the greater good of the community.

By furthering our relationship, Ticketmaster New Zealand will provide Rotorua Lakes Council with an annual contribution of funds to support the district and wider region’s Māori and Pasifika arts and culture.

Anjelica Devoe, General Manager at Ticketmaster New Zealand, said the extension of the partnership is a great moment for the teams in New Zealand.

“We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Rotorua Lakes Council and continue to play our part in delivering giving back to the community,” says Devoe.

“Extending the partnership means we are able to continue providing the Rotorua region and its venues with an overall trusted, reliable and world-class ticketing service”.

Stewart Brown, Manager Arts & Culture Mahi Toi at Rotorua Lakes Council, said: “Ticketmaster’s technology, resources and knowledge on global best practise combined with their significant audience reach and quality service mean that we’re in safe hands to create a busy and vibrant events calendar across the city with this partnership.”
